Who we are
GetMadeInIndia helps Indian manufacturers and exporters share a factory profile with businesses in India and abroad. Contact support@getmadeinindia.com. The grievance officer is Kalpesh Prajapati, at the same address.
What we collect
From sellers: name, mobile number, email, password (stored as a hash), business and factory details, IEC, GSTIN, PAN, an optional Udyam number, and the documents and photos you upload. From buyers on the waitlist: whether you buy in India or from outside India, name, company, email, categories, and expected order volume. Buyers in India may also give city, state, a GSTIN, and a phone number. Buyers outside India give a country. From reviewers: an account, and a log of review actions.
Why we collect it
We use seller information to create an account, check that the business is real, decide whether it can be shown to buyers, and contact the seller about the application. We use the waitlist to tell buyers when ordering opens. We do not sell personal data.
Who can see documents
Uploaded certificates and bank files are private. They are not placed on a public web address. The seller who uploaded them and a signed-in reviewer can open them. A factory photo appears on the public factory page after a reviewer accepts it. Until then, buyers see a labeled sample picture for the category, which is not the seller’s product. Public factory cards do not show PAN, GSTIN, bank files, or certificates.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, or erase your personal data, and you can nominate someone to exercise your rights, by emailing support@getmadeinindia.com. Complaints go to the grievance officer, Kalpesh Prajapati, at the same address. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it, for example tax or audit obligations.
How long we keep it
We keep seller files while the account is active and for a period after, so a review can be explained.
